Infiniti

Infiniti opened it doors to 51 new dealerships on November 8th 1989. A few years prior to this, Infiniti was just an idea for full size luxury vehicles. They only opened there vehicle line with 2 vehicles, the Q45 and the M30 coupe. Infiniti made a strong presence with these 2 cars. The only car you could get like this at the time was a BMW and a Mercedes Benz. With those 2 brands being so expensive Infiniti had the chance to capitalize on an elite market of luxury sedans and coupes. After the initial car went on sale and all of the car enthusiasts along with newspapers and magazines making up their own stories, Infiniti’s popularity exploded. The demand for their cars was so great that only two years later they doubled their production line to four cars.

By the mid 90’s Infiniti was a nationally recognized brand and with Nissan as their parent company the sky was the limit. It is remarkable that a company less than twenty years old and one of the newest auto manufacturers can make such an impression.
